I was looking through the Old Hickory Bats warranty info before buying, it was straightforward. Like, they do a decent job explaining what’s covered and what isn’t without making you click around forever. I did kind of wish there was a bit more detail about the timing and how the photo or claim process actually works, but overall... it was easier to understand than a lot of other sites I’ve checked. I’d give it 4 stars.

The bat showed up packed really well with no dents or damage at all. Opening the box was actually cool too. i blame the nice packaging for making me way more excited than I expected.

The site itself was fine to use, but I was expecting a bigger selection of bat models. Compared to a few other bat sites I’ve checked out, the choices here felt kind of limited, so I didn’t really end up finding what I was looking for. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

I’m picky when it comes to wood bats. Like I said, I usually stick with maple, but I wanted to try birch this time and Old Hickory made it easy to find the setup I was looking for. The bat showed up looking clean, and the weight felt about how I expected it to. I’ve hit with it a few times now and, like I said, I don’t really have any complaints. Feels good in the hands and I’d order from them again.

I picked up a youth bat from Old Hickory for my 11-year-old, and I figured it would be a good fit based on the size and weight. So far, that’s been the case. The weight feels about right for him, and the handle isn’t too thick, which I assumed might be an issue with some bats. He’s been using it at practice and says it swings really easily. Shipping was normal and everything showed up fine. No complaints at this point, and I’d probably buy from them again.

Used it this weekend i don’t really get the complaints some people have. The ball jumps off it well, and it felt solid on every swing. No issues for me so far.

For example, they responded quickly, explained what I needed to know, were polite the whole time, and made it feel like I wasn’t bothering them at all. it was smooth from start to finish.

I got exactly what I ordered, so I’m happy overall. The packaging was a little plain, but that’s not a big deal at all since the item itself was just what I wanted.

The balance is okay, but the bat feels a little heavier than I expected. Some swings feel fine, then other times it just feels off, like it works when it wants to. Not terrible, but the swing weight definitely isn’t as smooth as I hoped

It looks and feels great. My only regret is not picking it up earlier because it’s exactly what I was hoping for.

I did end up finding the bat I was looking for, but a few sizes were already gone. They usually have good stock, so it was a little disappointing this time and kind of made me trust them a bit less for having what I need.

I’ve been using this bat mostly for cage work, and for that it feels fine. It’s decent for getting reps in and taking training swings, but I wouldn’t trust it much in an actual game. It’s not terrible, just not as good as I was hoping. For the price, I expected a little more, so I’d appreciate some kind of compensation or partial refund if possible.

I did get the order placed eventually, but I wasn’t really sure it actually went through until the confirmation email showed up later. Just a public heads-up for anyone looking to buy bats online: be careful where you order from, because not every shop feels trustworthy. That said, I had a good experience here. The bats were solid, the ordering process felt safe, and I didn’t run into any issues...

I was let down when my Old Hickory bat showed up. Right away the handle felt way thicker than I expected, and it just didn’t sit comfortably in my hands. I gave it a few tries, hoping I’d get used to it, but it always felt bulky and awkward. the whole thing also felt like it had been handled carelessly before it got to me, which didn’t help my first impression at all.
The knob was probably the worst part for me. It felt strange and uncomfortable, almost like it was digging into my bottom hand every time I swung. Maybe some players like that kind of feel, but it really wasn’t for me. Between the odd grip, the bulky handle, and the careless handling, this just wasn’t what I was hoping for.

My bat showed up in perfect shape with no dents or marks at all!! The box had plenty of padding, and everything was packed in nice and tight. Really happy to see they took the time to pack it properly.

I wasn’t totally sure what bat size to go with, but the fit guide actually made the whole process really smooth. The bat feels right in my hands, and I didn’t have to guess at all.

The bat is alright overall, but I was expecting a bit more. The barrel shape feels fine, though the sweet spot seemed smaller than they made it sound, so it’s not quite as forgiving as I hoped.
